I was raised by a widow who single-handedly brought up ten children. I watched my mother work tirelessly every day, pushing beyond her limits, always with a quiet strength and a smile that hid her struggles. She carried her burdens without complaint, choosing resilience so her children would never feel her pain.

She believed deeply in education and sacrificed everything to give her children access to better opportunities. Every day began at 5 a.m. and ended late at night. She gave up her health, comfort, and rest so we could have a brighter future.

Over time, I witnessed how much she gave of herself until her body could no longer keep up and she became unwell. Yet even in her weakness, her love never changed.

Her courage, sacrifice, and selflessness became the foundation of my purpose. They inspired the creation of the G-Class Foundation, a platform dedicated to supporting women like her, women who give endlessly, often at great personal cost, and who deserve care, dignity, and support in return.

This mission is brought to life through the Ladies Purple Award Night Cruise, an exclusive celebration dedicated to honouring women’s achievements, recognising unsung heroes, and promoting diversity and inclusion across all industries and communities.

It is more than an event. It is a night to inspire, connect, and celebrate the remarkable women who shape our world, while creating lasting memories that reflect their strength and impact.
