Women facing hardship
Women experiencing economic vulnerability, social exclusion, difficult life circumstances or limited access to skills and opportunity.
A UK, Cameroon initiative bringing people, organisations and resources together to empower women, protect girls and create stronger pathways for vulnerable children and families.
Not simply giving assistance. Creating relationships, skills, opportunity and support that can change the direction of a life.
A girl who needs someone to believe in her. A woman trying to rebuild after loss. A mother doing everything she can with too little. A child growing up without the stability every child deserves.
The Women & Girls Initiative is built around those human realities. It is about creating practical pathways for women and girls who face poverty, disadvantage, social exclusion, limited access to education, skills or economic opportunity.
It also recognises that vulnerable women and children do not exist in isolation. When a woman is supported, the people around her can benefit too. When a girl is protected and given opportunity, a different future becomes possible.
The initiative is designed around people whose circumstances can make opportunity harder to reach , while creating practical routes towards dignity, confidence and independence.
Women experiencing economic vulnerability, social exclusion, difficult life circumstances or limited access to skills and opportunity.
Girls who need educational support, mentoring, confidence, guidance and a stronger pathway towards their future.
Including vulnerable and orphaned children who may need practical assistance, educational support, care pathways and people willing to stand with them.
Because lasting change is stronger when families, local organisations, professionals and community leaders are part of the solution.
We want to build a sustainable bridge between the United Kingdom and Cameroon , bringing together charities, businesses, philanthropists, community organisations, professionals and development partners around a shared commitment to people.
G, Class Foundation is focused on community transformation, empowerment, opportunity, dignity and practical support. The Foundation seeks to connect people and resources with initiatives that can help individuals and communities move from vulnerability towards greater opportunity.
The Women & Girls Initiative is one expression of that purpose: a partnership platform centred on women, girls, vulnerable children and the communities around them.
Seeing the person before the problem.
Equipping people with tools, not only assistance.
Support delivered with respect.
Building change with people.
Opening doors for the next generation.
Creating practical pathways forward.
Our programme areas connect immediate support with longer, term opportunity.

Educational support, mentoring, school, related assistance, digital literacy, confidence and guidance towards future opportunities.

The UK and Cameroon can contribute different forms of expertise, networks, resources and community connection. The purpose is not to impose a model from one country onto another, but to build relationships around local realities and shared purpose.
G, Class Foundation has experience through Ladies Purple Night & Awards and wider community engagement. For 10 years in London, the platform has brought people together around women, recognition, relationships and community.
That experience informs the Foundation’s approach: women should not only be celebrated. They should be connected to opportunities, support and people willing to invest in their future.

The Women & Girls Initiative is the focus of this partnership proposal. But it is not the only major community initiative being developed by G, Class Foundation. The Foundation is also investing significant effort into a separate restoration and livelihoods programme , the G, Class Restoration Model.
The next section is intentionally distinct: a look at another major body of work being developed by the Foundation.
A separate major initiative from G, Class Foundation focused on ecosystem restoration, agribusiness, livelihoods and community opportunity. The programme is already underway in Ghana and Cameroon, beginning with agribusiness, with further projects intended to follow.
This is not presented as part of the Women & Girls Initiative. It is another significant piece of the Foundation’s wider community work, documented through raw footage and images from the field.
